The Be Good Tanya’s
Blue Horse rarely left my ears for a great part of last year. I have finally just gotten around to checking out their recent October release,
Hello Love. This album also does not disappoint. On their website, the music of these three Vancouver-based girls is described as “A mixture of deep country, early American folk, old-tyme jazz, blues, gospel and folk,” a sound “reminiscent of a bygone era.” Need an escape? Give them a listen. There is sure to be a sound to soothe any musical ear. Young fans: check out their version of "For the Turnstiles."
